29 CFR  1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury:  a) New residential construction, Lot 41, left side:  On or about 8/30/2021, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards, in that they were operating a Carpenter CCN65 coil siding nail gun at 135 PSI  without eye protection. Safety glasses were not provided to employees while conducting siding installation activities prior to the beginning of the work day.  b) New residential construction, Lot 41, left side:  On or about 8/30/2021, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards , in that they were operating a Dewalt DWE575 7 1/4 circular saw  without eye protection. Safety glasses were not provided to employees while they were cutting Hardie board siding prior to the beginning of the work day.
