29 CFR  1910.22(c): The employer did not provide, and ensure each employee uses, a safe means of access and egress to and from walking-working surfaces:  a) Tractor trailer deck: On September 28, 2021 and at times prior thereto;  a bungee cord was pulled across the top step up to the trailer deck and the truck fuel tank.  This created a potential tripping hazard when employees climbed up or down from the trailer deck behind the sleeper cab.    Note) Certification of corrective action is required for this item.

29 CFR  1910.30(a)(1): Before any employee is exposed to a fall hazard, the employer did not provide training for each employee who uses personal fall protection systems:  a)  Tarping Station: On September 28, 2021 and at times prior thereto; the employer had not provided training to employees on the proper and safe use of a retractable fall protection system that was required to be used by employees when tarping loads.    Note) Certification of corrective action is required for this item.
