29 CFR  1910.219(d)(1): Pulley(s) with part(s) seven feet or less from the floor or work platform were not guarded in accordance with the requirements specified in 29 CFR 1910.219(m) and (o).  On or about October 8, 2021, and at times prior thereto, the moving parts (pully and wheels) of a Compressed Air Tank were not guarded, exposing employees to the hazard of being caught and pulled into the moving parts.

29 CFR  1910.242(b): Compressed air used for cleaning purposes was not reduced to less than 30 pounds per square inch (psi).  On or about November 18, 2021, and at times prior thereto, compressed air was being used to clean wood dust and debris  produced from woodworking activities within the production shop area that was not less than 30 psi, exposing the employees using the air nozzle to the hazard of being struck by a stream of focused air to the skin or eye(s).

29 CFR  1910.303(b)(7)(iv): There shall be no damaged parts that may adversely affect safe operation or mechanical strength of the equipment, such as parts that are broken, bent, cut, or deteriorated by corrosion, chemical action, or overheating.  On or about October 8 2021, and at times prior thereto, an extension cord used to power a Makita portable sander for the purpose of sanding wood pieces had broken conduit and exposed wires, exposing employees who operate the power tool to the hazard of an electrical shock.

29 CFR  1910.1200(g)(1): Employers did not have a safety data sheet in the workplace for each hazardous chemical which they use.  On or about October 8, 2021, and at times prior thereto, the employer did not provide safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical employees use in the workshop, such as but not limited to acetone, denature alcohol, wood protectant and paint thinner, exposing the employees to various hazards associated with these chemicals.

On or about November 18, 2021, and at times prior thereto, employee(s) that handle chemicals used within the shop were not trained on how to read a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) or on the hazards associated with the chemicals, exposing employee(s) to the various hazards associated with the chemicals used on site.
