Employees working at 7846 Appenines Dr., Fort Riley, KS 66442 engaged in floor milling and edge grinding activities while required to wear respirators were exposed to respiratory hazards. The employer had not determined, through a medical evaluation, the employee's ability to use a respirator before the employee is fit tested or required to use a respirator. Employees were wearing Sundstrom SR 100 Half Mask Respirator.

The employer had not determined, through a qualitative fit test (QLFT) or quantitative fit test (QNFT), the respirators effectiveness before the employee is required to use a respirator. Employees were wearing Sundstrom SR 100 Half Mask Respirator.

29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(1): Employers did not have a safety data sheet in the workplace for each hazardous chemical which they use. Employees are exposed to health hazards. Employees working at 7846 Appenines Dr., Fort Riley, KS 66442 engaged in floor milling and edge grinding activities were exposed to respiratory hazards in that safety data sheets were not maintained at the workplace. Chemicals utilized on the jobsite included, but are not limited to, Ameripolish 3D HS Hybrid Silicate Densifier and Schonox SL.
