At the jobsite, employees operating Paslode nail guns while performing framing activities were not wearing eye protection, exposing employees to the hazard of being struck by flying objects.  Roberto Castilleja Cerda, was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.102(a) (1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1288179, Citation Number 1, Item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on February 6, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 1201 Mountaigne , Mansfield, Texas 76034.

The employer did not provide a training program with hazard recognition and avoidance training where part of the job is to be exposed to fall hazards at a heights over 15 feet to the ground below.
