29 CFR  1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  On or about November 9 through November 29, 2021, employees who operated the #14 Lamco laminating machine were exposed to amputation and laceration hazards from exposure to moving parts, including the point of operation, while placing and removing parts during the operating cycle.  There was no machine guarding provided on the machines to prevent employees from accessing the danger zone while the machine was operating.  No abatement documentation is required for this citation item.
