29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Employees on walking/working surfaces with an unprotected side and/or edge which is 6 feet or more above a lower level were not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  Site: 7 West 83rd Street in New York, NY.  a) On or about 11/24/2021, employees were exposed to falling approximately 60 feet when working on the outside of the building.  The employees were not protected from falling by means of fall protection.

The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards.  Site: 7 West 83rd Street in New York, NY.  a) On or about 11/24/2021, employees were exposed to fall hazards while working on this site and were not trained to recognize and minimize the hazards they were being exposed to.
