29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1):The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation. On or about December 10, 2021, an employee was using a pneumatic nail gun without eye protection while securing roof trusses to an apartment building under construction.

29 CFR 1926.451(c)(2)(v):Fork-lifts shall not be used to support scaffold platforms unless the entire platform is attached to the fork and the fork-lift is not moved horizontally while the platform is occupied. On or about December 10, 2021, on a residential apartment building under construction, an employee was exposed to a fall hazard exceeding 10 feet (3.1 m) while standing on a sheet of medium-density fiberboard (MDF) supported by, but not attached to, the forks of a rough terrain forklift while securing trusses.
