29 CFR  1910.30(a)(3)(iv):  The employer must train each employee in at least the following topics:  the correct use of personal fall protection systems and equipment specified in paragraph (a)(1) of this section, including, but not limited to, proper hook-up, anchoring, and tie-off techniques, and methods of equipment inspection and storage, as specified by the manufacturer.    Location: 4 Appletree Drive,  Plainville, MA 02762.  Right side of residential home.  Worksite: On or about  12/13/21 while in the process of removing trees at 4 Appletree Drive, Plainville, MA. an employee of Charron Tree Service, LLC. .was struck by a tree branch that was being felled. The employee sustained face and back injuries as a result of the incident.  (A)  The employer did not train each employee as required the correct and proper use and tie-off techniques of fall protection while working in a tree cutting branches.
