29 CFR 1910.215(b)(9): The distance between the abrasive wheel periphery(s) and the adjustable tongue or the end of the safety guard peripheral member at the top exceeded one fourth inch:  (a) On or about December 14, 2021, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees in the shop area to struck-by hazards due to two bench grinder tongue guards exceeding one fourth inch.       (1)  Dayton bench grinder, serial number illegible           (2)  Skil bench grinder, serial number illegible  Abatement Note: Abatement certification is not required for this item.
