29 CFR  1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  a. 730 Central Ave., Plainfield, NJ - School, north end of building  The employer did not ensure employees  and sub-contractor employees were protected from falls.  Employees and sub-contractor employees engaged in commercial building activities worked at or near the outside edge of the structure and were not attached with a fall harness and lanyard or had any other means of fall protection.    Violation observed on or about December 16, 2021
