29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee use appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors or potentially injurious light radiation:  a- 900 Route 73 North, Worksite Plans A100, Marlton NJ:  Workers were exposed to struck by hazards when using an electric portable chop saw without eye or face protection.  Condition observed on or about 01/26/22.  NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.   a- 900 Route 73 North, Worksite Plans A100, Marlton NJ:  Workers were exposed to fall hazards, up to and in excess of 16 feet 1 inch to the ground surface below, when walking/working at and near the unprotected edges of a commercial structure's canopy while not utilizing fall protection.   Condition observed on or about 01/26/22.  NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR  1926.503(a)(2): The employer did not assure that each employee exposed to fall hazards was trained by a competent person qualified in the areas specified in 29 CFR 1926.503 (a)(2)(i) through (viii)   a- 900 Route 73 North, Worksite Plans A100, Marlton NJ:  Workers were exposed to fall hazards, up to and in excess of 16 feet 1 inch to the ground surface below, when walking/working at and near the unprotected edges of a commercial structure's canopy while not utilizing fall protection.  These workers had not received fall protection training from a competent person qualified in the areas specified in 29 CFR 1826.503(a)(2)(i) through (viii).    Condition noted on or about 01/26/22.  NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. These workers had not received ladder safety training from the company.
