29 CFR  1910.303(g)(1)(ii): The required working space about electric equipment rated 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground, was used for storage:   a) Jegs High Performance Centers located at 751 East 11th Ave, Columbus, OH 43211:  On and preceding January 31, 2022, an electrical circuit breaker box in the north west corner of the lower shop did not have sufficient access and working space around it to permit ready and safe operation of the equipment. Several stacks of tires were blocking the electrical panel thereby exposing employees to electrical shock and fire hazards.

29 CFR  1910.334(a)(2)(i): Portable cord and plug connected equipment and flexible cord sets (extension cords) were not visually inspected before use on any shift for external defects (such as loose parts, deformed and missing pins, or damage to outer jacket or insulation) and for evidence of possible internal damage (such as pinched or crushed outer jacket):  a) Jegs High Performance Centers located at 751 East 11th Ave, Columbus, OH 43211:  On and preceding January 31, 2022, a flexible extension cord and power cord for a large fan was not visually inspected for defects prior to use.  the extension cord and fan cord had several areas with damaged insulation and other damage thereby exposing employees to electrical shock hazards.  b) Jegs High Performance Centers located at 751 East 11th Ave, Columbus, OH 43211:  On and preceding January 31, 2022, a power cord for a  Skil 6265 drill was not visually inspected for defects prior to use.  The outer jacket was pulled out from the bottom of the drill handle thereby exposing employees to electrical shock hazards.
