On January 19, 2022 one employee was injured after being directed to use the Roundo Section Bending Machine without the use of machine guards or other means to keep workers away from the point of operation. This condition exposed employees  to crushing hazards.

29 CFR  1910.303(g)(2)(i): Exposed live electrical parts were not protected from accidental contact by an approved enclosure:    a. Trent Spendrup Corporation DBA Spendrup Fan Company, Inc. at 2768 C 1/2 Rd, Grand Junction, CO 81501: On or about January 31, 2022,  the employer did not protect employees from electrical hazards while operating the machine. It was observed that the backside panel of the Roundo Section Bending Machine was not covered. The opening was large enough for arms and legs to enter and contact live electrical conductors. Employees are in this area when replacing the machine cover after use because the covers are set behind the machine during use. Employees were exposed to shock, electrocution and burn hazards.
