29 CFR  1910.178(l)(1)(i): The employer had not ensured that each powered industrial truck operator was competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation specified in paragraph (l):  a.  At the fabrication shop, storage yard, and warehouse, at 2903 Burke Street, Jacksonville, Florida:  On or about February 3, 2022 and at times prior employees were exposed to the hazard of injuries from improper forklift operation by forklift operators moving stock materials, fabricated doors, and trailers with Toyota Models 8FGU25 and 7FGCU15 forklifts in that the employer did not train the forklift operators with a forklift training curriculum and certification program in compliance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1910.178(l).
