29 CFR  1926.1053(b)(1):When portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder is used to gain access:  508 Dickinson St., Springfield, MA: On or about February 17,2022, an employee was observed using a portable extension ladder to reach their work location that did not extend at least 3 feet past the upper landing surface.  Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29CFR1903.19 (d) (1).
