29 CFR  1926.501(a)(2): The employer did not determine if the walking/working surfaces on which its employees were to work had the strength and structural integrity to support employees safely:    a)  Worksite, 345 Dune Road Westhampton Beach, NY -  Employee working in an elevator shaft in a residential home was standing on a 2 inch piece of foam which could not support the employees' weight, causing him to fall approximately 10ft to the floor below; on or about 3/1/2022   Note:   Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.
