29 CFR 1910.219(f)(3):Sprocket wheels and chains which were seven (7) feet or less above floors or platforms were not enclosed. On or about March 03, 2022, and at times prior thereto, a. In the saw unit area, employees were operating log conveyors powered by a two chain and sprocket system without guards to protect the employees from the nip points. b. In the trash conveyor area, employees were working near a chain and sprocket without guard to protect the employees from the nip point.
