29 CFR 1910.106(d)(4)(v): "Storage in inside storage rooms." In every inside storage room there shall be maintained one clear aisle at least 3 feet wide. Containers over 30 gallons capacity shall not be stacked one upon the other. Dispensing shall be by approved pump or self-closing faucet only. a. On or March 17, 2022, the employer did not ensure that the 55 gallon drum containers of flammable liquid were not stacked one upon the other at the receiving area of the workplace. Approximately 48 drums were stacked two high and 20 drums were stacked three high.

29 CFR 1910.106(d)(5)(vi)(b): The total quantity of liquids within a building shall not be restricted, but the arrangement of storage shall comply with Table H-14 or H-15. a. On or before March 17, 2022, the employer did not ensure that the storage of the flammable Category 2 liquids within the warehouse complied to Table H-14. Collectively the total gallons stored was greater than 5,500 gallons and the piles did have aisles that separated each other by at least 4 feet.
