29 CFR  1926.1427(a)(1): Operation during training. An employee who has not been certified/licensed and evaluated to operate assigned equipment in accordance with this section, operated the equipment as an operator-in-training not under supervision in accordance with the requirements of paragraph (b) of this section.  New residential construction located on Lot #308 at 145 Andrea Way, Cartersville, GA 30120, Front side of structure: On or about 03/29/2022, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards from roof trusses being hoisted onto the top plates located on the second level, in that the crane operator-in-training was operating a Manitex 124WL 24-ton  crane  without the trainer or supervision required for crane operators who are not qualified or certified to operate such equipment. The employer(trainer) was not with the operator-in-training at all times.
