29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(1): Employers did not have a safety data sheet in the workplace for each hazardous chemical which they use:  Employees were exposed to health hazards.  Employees engaged in roofing activities were exposed to health hazards in that the employer did not maintain the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical used at the workplace.  Hazardous Chemicals used at the workplace include but are not limited to gasoline and Grip Rite construction adhesive.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access:  Employees were exposed to fall hazards.  Employees working at 635 N. Berry St. Gardner, KS. engaged in residential roofing activities, using a metal extension ladder were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 10 feet from the eave of the building to the ground below. Employees were exposed in that the ladder was not secured to the building and only extended 1 and 1/2 feet above the eve.
