29 CFR  1910.138(a): The employer did not select and require employee(s) to use appropriate hand protection when employees' hands were exposed to hazards such as those from skin absorption of harmful substances; severe cuts or lacerations; severe abrasion; punctures; chemical burns; thermal burns; and harmful temperature extremes:  (a) On or about 09/30/2022 and at times prior to, 100 Plugs Drive, Decatur, AL in the Chemical Room during the sanitation work shift, employees preparing cleaning solutions were exposed to chemical burns from undiluted and 50% diluted sodium hydroxide contained in the product ChemStation 3047 and appropriate hand protection was not provided.
