(a) Workcenter - On or about May 5, 2022 and at times prior thereto, employees were exposed to fire and smoke inhalation in that the portable fire extinguishers throughout the ranger district were not inspected monthly to ensure that they were fully charged and available for emergency use.  The Forest Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR  1910.157(e)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1261318, notice number 2, item number 6 and was affirmed as a final order on 3/20/2018, with respect to a workplace located at Mt. Hood National Forest.
