29 CFR 1910.101(b): The handling, storage, and utilization of all compressed gases in cylinders, portable tanks, rail tankcars, or motor vehicle cargo tanks shall be in accordance with Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet (CGA) P-1-1965, which is incorporated by reference as specified in Sec. 1910.6. Section 3.3.1 of the CGA Pamphlet P-1-1965 refers to storing cylinders in accordance with CGA and NFPA standards. The CGA Pamphlet P-1-1991 Section 3.7.4.1 states that "All compressed gas cylinders in service or in storage shall be secured to prevent from falling." a) Jobsite located at 151 Woodbine Rd, Downington PA: Employees were exposed to struck-by and fire hazards in that a compressed gas cylinder of propane was stored on top of a 3-foot tall flammable storage cabinet that was next to a walkway where it was not protected from falling or being knocked over. b) Jobsite located at 151 Woodbine Rd, Downington PA: Employees were exposed to fire and explosion hazards in that a compressed gas cylinder of propane was stored next to leaking corrosive chemicals and other hazard classes inside a flammable storage cabinet. Conditions noted on or about 6-month period of Nov. 18 - May 18, 2022.
