29 CFR  1926.102(a)(2):The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses eye protection that provides side protection when there is a hazard from flying objects. Detachable side protectors (e.g. clip-on or slide-on side shields) meeting the pertinent requirements of this section are acceptable.  On or about June 10, 2022. Employees were performing framing work with pneumatic nail guns without the use of eye protection, exposing employees to eye injury hazard

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(1):"Unprotected sides and edges." Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level shall be protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  On or about June 10, 2022, employees were installing framing on a residential house roof approximately 8 feet in height without the use of fall protection, exposing employee to a fall hazard.
