The employer did not ensure that if the correction or repair cannot be made immediately, the hazard is guarded to prevent employees from using the walking-working surface until the hazard is corrected or repaired. At a worksite located at 800 Atlantic Street, Kansas City, Missouri. Employees were exposed to serious slip, trip and fall hazards created by the large hole in the production floor leading to and from the loading dock, plywood was put in the hole so the Yale Forklift serial # A390V12530T could travel through the accumulated water.

At a worksite located at 800 Atlantic Street, Kansas City, Missouri. Employees in the loading dock area were exposed to fall hazards. The loading dock had an open side, which was lacking an adequate guard rail system to protect employees from falling. The loading dock was measured to be more than 4 feet above the ground below.

An extension cord that was running through a wall was used to provide power to a permanently mounted air conditioner. AJ Hollander Enterprises Inc. DBA KC Hide Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(B), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1510737, citation number 1, item number 4b and was affirmed as a final order on 07-15-2021, with respect to a workplace located at 800 Atlantic Street, Kansas City, Missouri.
