29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that all places of employment, passageways, storerooms, service rooms, and walking-working surfaces are kept in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition: a) On or about July 29, 2022, and at times prior, the floor at the paint mixing area was not kept clean and orderly. Paint spills, empty paint containers, trash, and debris were left on the floor. Employees were exposed to trip hazards while working in the paint mixing area.

29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical, and did not ensure that they were readily accessible during each work shift to employees when they were in their work area(s): a) On or about July 29, 2022, and at times prior, employees used several hazardous chemicals in the paint mixing area. The safety data sheets for the hazardous chemicals were not readily accessible to the employees in the workplace. This condition potentially exposed employees to serious hazards from hazardous chemicals, including, but not limited to, Klean Strip lacquer thinner, Gunk engine degreaser, Lucas injector cleaner, and Citistrip paint stripper.
