On or about, August 3, 2022  at the Lowe's Home Improvement Store # 0569,  the employer did not take out of service forklifts that had damaged forks.

29 CFR  1910.157(c)(1):Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries:  a.) On or about, August 3, 2022  at the Lowe's Home Improvement Store # 0569, the employer failed to ensure effective measures to prevent fire hazards, in that, the fire extinguisher located near the emergency exit and near the exit to the bull pen, was blocked by a garbage container and a card board box, thus blocking the fire extinguisher where it was not readily accessible.   Lowe's Home Improvement  was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.37(a)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number # 1532315, citation number 001, item number 001, issued on June 7, 2021  and was affirmed as a final order on July 2, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 2801 US HWY 75 North, Sherman, TX, 75090.

On or about, August 3, 2022  at the Lowe's Home Improvement Store # 0569, the employer failed to ensure effective measures to prevent fire hazards, in that, the emergency exit  was blocked by a 50lb. bag of play sand and the top of a garbage can.  Lowe's Home Improvement  was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.37(a)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number # 1532315, citation number 002, item number 001, issued on June 7, 2021  and was affirmed as a final order on July 2, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 2801 US HWY 75 North, Sherman, TX, 75090.  Lowe's Home Improvement  was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.37(a)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1337512, citation number 002, item number 001, issued on December 20, 2018 and was affirmed as a final order on January 17, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 67 Eagle Road, Danbury, CT 06810.
