29 CFR  1926.652(a)(1):Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652 (b) or (c).  On or about August 9, 2022, at a worksite near 8727 FM 1960  in Humble, TX, three employees were exposed to a struck-by hazard when installing storm boxes in an excavation exceeding a depth of 5 feet without adequate protection from cave-ins.  Joslin Construction Texas, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard  1926.652(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1538154, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on September 8, 2021 with respect to a workplace located Near Intersection of FM 1960 Rd E and Atascocita Rd in Humble, TX 77346.
