29 CFR  1910.151(c):Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use:  a) Tonnard Manufacturing Corporation, Bay 5 Tech cool dispensing area, on or about August 11th, 2022 and times prior thereto:  Employees worked with and around corrosive chemicals including, but not limited to, Tech Cool 35120NB during the addition of the coolant to the mills in the Bay 5 work area.  Employees did not have access within the immediate work area to a suitable eyewash station.  In addition, the plumbed eyewash station at the facility was inspected monthly versus weekly.   b) Tonnard Manufacturing Corporation, various areas in bay 3, on or about August 11th, 2022 and times prior thereto:  Employees worked with and around corrosive chemicals including, but not limited to, Prodraw 365 during the application of the product to parts in the bay 3 work area. Employees did not have access within the immediate work area to a suitable eyewash station.  In addition, the plumbed eyewash station at the facility was inspected monthly versus weekly.   c) Tonnard Manufacturing Corporation, various areas in bay 3, on or about August 11th, 2022 and times prior thereto: Employees worked with and around corrosive chemicals including, but not limited to, Prodraw 365. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below).
