29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about 08/17/22, at 650 NE Waters Edge Lane, Port Saint Lucie, Florida, employees engaged in bricklaying/masonry activities were exposed to an approximated 12-foot fall hazard without a means of fall protection.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1):Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed on or about 8/17/22, at 650 NE Waters edge Lane Port Saint Lucie FL employees engaged in brick laying/masonry activates were exposed to an approximant 12 foot fall hazard due to ladder not being extended at least 3 feet beyond top landing. The ladder was present and in use, it was short of reaching top landing.
