The employer did not develop or implement a Respiratory Protection program and required employees to wear respirators when performing sandblasting operations.

29 CFR  1910.134(e)(1): The employer did not provide a medical evaluation to determine the employee's ability to use a respirator before the employee was fit tested or required to use the respirator in the workplace:  At the workplace located at 735 N Valve Road in Joplin Missouri 64801, employees were exposed to health hazards related to wearing respirators.  The employer did not ensure that the employees were medically evaluated before requiring them to wear Moldex 4200 Series N95 respirators when performing sandblasting operations.
