The employees were conducting residential roofing operations and were exposed to the hazard of falling approximately ten (10) feet.

Workers performing residential construction were exposed to falling approximately ten (10) feet while using an extension ladder to ascend/descend from the ground level to the roof.

29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1):  Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents:    On or about 08/25/2022, The employer did not ensure that eye protective equipment was used when employees were exposed to eye injury while using pneumatic nail guns.  The employer (JZ Exteriors and Repairs, LLC) was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1441060, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 01/28/2020, with respect to a workplace located at 2005 St. Andrews Drive, Saint Charles, MO 63301.
