29 CFR  1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.   (a) 5185 US Route 30, Greensburg, PA 15601, On or about August 25th 2022, employees were not protected from fall hazards of approximately 15 feet while installing a new roof on a commercial building that was measured at a  4/12 pitch. Employees were removing a old asphalt shingle roof and no fall protection was in use. i.e. harnesses, guard rails, etc.

29 CFR  1926.503(a)(1):The employer shall provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards.  (a)  5185 US Route 30, Greensburg, PA 15601, On or about August 25th 2022, the employer did not conduct fall protection training for employees exposed to fall hazards of approximately 15 feet while installing a new roof on a commercial building that was measured at a 4/12 pitch.
