29 CFR  1926.454(a):The employer did not have each employee who performed work while on a scaffold trained by a person qualified in the subject matter to recognize the hazards associated with the type of scaffold being used and to understand the procedures to control or minimize those hazards.  A) 26 W. Main Street, Bound Brook, NJ  The employer does not ensure that employees working on scaffold were provided with safety training related to scaffolding.   The employer did not produce any documented training records or scaffold certification for the employees working on the scaffold on the date of the inspection.     Observed on or about August 31, 2022.

29 CFR  1926.451(g)(4)(i):Guardrail systems were not installed along all open sides and ends of platforms before being released for use by employees other than erection/dismantling crews:  A) 26 W. Main Street, Bound Brook, NJ  The employer does not ensure that supported scaffold was assembled with adequate guardrails.   Employees  were working on a scaffold 10 feet and higher above the lower level which was missing multiple sets of guardrails.   The employer did not ensure that the open corners of the scaffold were supported with guardrails to prevent employees from falling to a lower level.   Observed on or about August 31, 2022
