29 CFR  1926.602(c)(1)(ii): Modifications or additions affecting the safe operation of the equipment were  made without the manufacturer's written approval:  a. On or about August 31, 2022, at the above addressed jobsite, employees were exposed to struck-by hazards while lifting scaffolding equipment by the direct placement of rigging (i.e., sling) onto the tine of a JLG G10-55A Telehandler for a below-the-tines lift, which could affect the capacity and/or safe operation of the truck.  The employer did not receive written approval from the manufacturer of the Telehandler before using the sling.
