29 CFR 1926.451(c)(3): Supported scaffold poles, legs, post, frames, and/or uprights were not plumb and braced to prevent swaying and displacement:  a- 8000 Schindler Drive, Mount Laurel NJ - Workers were exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 15 feet 9 inches to the ground surface below, when performing siding installation and other related activities from a pump jack scaffold whose posts/legs were not plumb and braced to prevent swaying and displacement. Condition observed on or about 08/25/22.   NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.451(g)(4)(i): Guardrail systems were not installed along all open sides and ends of platforms.  a- 8000 Schindler Drive, Mount Laurel NJ -  Workers were exposed to fall hazards, in excess of  15 feet 9 inches to the ground surface below, when performing siding installation and other related activities from a pump jack scaffold whose walking and working surface was not supplied with end stops on either of its ends. Condition observed on or about 08/25/22.  NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.454(a): The employer did not have each employee who performed work while on a scaffold trained by a person qualified in the subject matter to recognize the hazards associated with the type of scaffold being used and to understand the procedures to control or minimize those hazards.  a- 8000 Schindler Drive, Mount Laurel NJ - Company workers, working from a deficient pump jack scaffold system, had not been trained by a qualified person in order to recognize and minimize scaffold hazards.  Condition noted on or about 08/25/22. 29 CFR  1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.   a)  8000 Schindler Drive, Mount Laurel NJ: A worker was exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 30 feet to the ground surface, when working from a residential structure's pitched roof without the use of fall protection. Observed on or about 08/25/22.  NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
