29 CFR  1926.651(c)(2): A stairway, ladder, ramp or other safe means of egress was not located in trench excavations that are 4 feet (1.22 m) or more in depth so as to not require more than 25 feet (7.62 m) of lateral travel for employees:  Intersection of Clinton & Perkiss Streets., Stafford Springs, CT: On or about August 24, 2022, an employee was observed climbing up the side of the excavation to exit the area rather than walk the more than 25 feet to the ramp located at the far end of this excavation.
