Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a. Located at 11295 Stonecreek Drive, Pickerington, OH 43147: On or about September 15, 2022, the employer did not ensure roofing employees removing shingles, working at heights ranging from approximately 8'6" to 18'8" on a roof with an 8/12 pitch, were protected by fall protection.
