The endpoints at each upright were more than 48 inches (1.3 m) apart.  On or about September 16, 2022, employees were were laying brick and cement to a residential home under new construction from a scaffold where midrailing was not used. Crossbracing was between 38 inches and 48 inches, exposing workers to a fall hazard of approximately 10 feet to the ground below.
