29 CFR  1926.651(b)(2): Utility companies or owners were not contacted within established or customary local response times, advised of the proposed work, and asked to establish the location of the utility underground installations prior to the start of an actual excavation.   a) On or about September 21, 2022, at the above addressed jobsite, the employer did not exercise caution or locate the gas line with acceptable means when performing excavating operations.  No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.
