Employees working on Davenport Screw Machines were exposed to noise levels in excess of 85 dBA over an 8-hour period.  a)  Employee #1; working on Davenports #4, #12, and #13; was exposed to continuous noise levels at 207.7% of the permissible daily noise exposure (8-hour time-weighted average sound level of 85 dBA) during the 448 minute sampling period on February 17, 2023.  Exposure calculations included a zero increment for the time not sampled.    b)  Employee #2; working on Davenports #21, #22, and #24; was exposed to continuous noise levels at 133.4% of the permissible daily noise exposure (8-hour time-weighted average sound level of 85 dBA) during the 452 minute sampling period on February 17, 2023.  Exposure calculations included a zero increment for the time not sampled.    c)  Employee #3; working on Davenports #1, #2, and #10; was exposed to continuous noise levels at 121.1% of the permissible daily noise exposure (8-hour time-weighted average sound level of 85 dBA) during the 384 minute sampling period on February 17, 2023.
