29 CFR  1926.701(b):All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and/or into which employees could fall, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement:  a) Fort Campbell, Bldg 7853 parking lot: On or about September 26, 2022, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to a safety hazard (impalement), in that caps were not placed on exposed reinforced steel while performing the task of preparing to lay concrete for a pedestrian walk way.
