29 CFR 1926.451(b)(1): Each platform on all working levels of scaffolds was not fully planked or decked between the front uprights and the guardrail supports:   a) On October 18, 2022, employees engaged in framing work were exposed to the hazard of falling while working from a tubular welded frame scaffold platform that was not fully planked.  In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   a) On October 18, 2022, employees engaged in framing work were not protected from fall hazards while working at an elevation of approximately 20 feet above the ground.  Dryden Construction Co., Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1577470, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on March 28, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 17524 Humber Lane, Tinley Park, Illinois 60487.  Dryden Construction Co., Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1548856, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on January 28, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 1219 Auburn Rd., Lemont, Illinois 60462.  In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification.  This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.
