This condition exposed employees to chemical hazards including but not limited to: -used motor oil -antifreeze -brake cleaner -gasoline  Abatement Note: Abatement certification is not required for this item.

29 CFR  1910.1200(g)(1):  Employers did not have a safety data sheet in the workplace for each hazardous chemical which they use  (a) Taylor Auto, LLC: On or before 10/20/22 the employer did not ensure that Safety Data Sheets (SDS) were retained for each chemical used onsite. The employer had a binder of out-of-date Material Safety Data Sheets. This condition exposed employees to chemical hazards including but not limited to: -used motor oil -antifreeze -brake cleaner -gasoline  Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item. See enclosed "Certification of Corrective Actions Worksheet."

29 CFR  1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area:  (a) Taylor Auto, LLC: On or before 10/20/22 the employer did not provide training and information to employees regarding the chemical hazards in the workplace that satisfied this standard. This condition exposed employees to chemical hazards including but not limited to: -used motor oil -antifreeze -brake cleaner -gasoline  Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item.
