29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  a.  715 S Beach Street, Riverhouse Condominium, Daytona Beach, FL 32114 (Third Floor Unit 314C); On or about October 21, 2022, the employer exposed two employees to fall hazards in that employees were allowed to work on the third level of an apartment building balcony that had an unprotected edge exposing employees to an 18 foot fall to the bottom level.
