29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(4):Ladder(s) were used for purposes other than the purpose for which they were designed: On or about October 24. 2022 at the job site located at 2600 Easton St NE, Canton Ohio 44721; during the installation of rebar for a concrete amphitheater foundation in trenches, the employer did not ensure that employees utilized self-supporting ladders (Stepladders) properly for means of egress and access into the trenches to install the rebar foundation frame. The foreman was on site and utilized a self-supporting ladder in the closed position at the North end of the trench to egress the trench.
