29 CFR 1910.134(f)(1): The employer shall ensure that employees using a tight-fitting facepiece respirator pass an appropriate qualitative fit test (QLFT) or quantitative fit test (QNFT) as stated in this paragraph.  a)  On or about 11/15/2022, at the Gannet Building, undergoing renovations and located at 55 Exchange Boulevard, in Rochester, New York, the employer did not enforce Fit Testing requirements for employees wearing half masks during work activities on the third floor of the Gannett Building.  Employees were allowed to wear half mask respirators during GUT/REHAB work, without having passed a fit test prior to their use.  NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
