29 CFR  1926.416(a)(1):No employer shall permit an employee to work in such proximity to any part of an electric power circuit that the employee could contact the electric power circuit in the course of work, unless the employee is protected against electric shock by deenergizing the circuit and grounding it or by guarding it effectively by insulation or other means.  On or about November 8, 2022, an employee operating a Case 350C contacted a 12.5kV distribution circuit with the "stick" of the excavator, exposing the employee to the hazards associated with contacting 12.5kV.  Abatement documentation is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
