Stairs or a ramp must be provided where the exit route is not substantially level. a) Direct Sign Wholesale, Denver , CO: On or about November 29th, 2022, employees were exposed to smoke inhalation hazards while working around obstructed exit routes. Warehouse materials were stored immediately adjacent to, and in front of emergency exit in Vinyl Department.

Employees noise levels were measured at 88.6 decibels on an A-weighted scale (dBA) for a sampling period of 435 minutes which is calculated to be 82.7% of the action level (8-hour time-weighted average action level of 85dBA). A zero exposure was calculated for the remaining 45 minutes, for which sampling did not occur. The employer failed to maintain feasible administrative or engineering controls.
